Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple Time Capsule MB276LL/A (AirPort Extreme Plus 500 GB Storage)Customer Review: Reporte de Time Capsule en español Summary: 5 Stars
Buena compra.
Customer Review: Very Good Apple Product Summary: 5 Stars
The assumption here is that you are going to use this product with Apple computers. With that in mind this product works very well. Setup is extremely easy via the Airport Utility built into your Apple computer. The wireless network is setup within minutes. The router also offers several dual band options to allow you to simultaneously have an "n" and "g" network running for your devices to get optimal speed for each device.
Backup for the most part to the device works great even on a "g" equipped Apple computer. However, if you have an older Mac that does not have draft 802.11n capabilities you will probably want to plug it into the router via ethernet for your first backup. I had difficulties getting the first back up to star. It was about 25 GB.
Customer Review: no problems - Leopard (10.5) Tiger (10.4), XP-Pro sp2, Vista Home Premium Summary: 5 Stars
I have had Time Capsule for only 2 days. It took about 10 minutes to set up as a stand-alone router and networked drive. I also tried it alongside my old linksys as a mac-only 802.11n router/drive. Both worked great. I had no problem installing the software on my windows laptops; wifi and everything else works as advertised. The real beauty is Time Machine - for your first back up, turn off your AirPort card and attach an rj-45 cable for the fastest back-ups, after that it backs up your Leopard laptop every hour wirelessly, almost no speed degradation when the back-up happens. Wonderful product, highly recommend. Just to clarify for some reviewers it is $[...] for the 500GB and $[...] for 1TB.

Customer Review: Works good Summary: 5 Stars
I setup my Time Capsule as just a 'wireless access point'. I just plugged an ethernet cable from the Time Capsule WAN port to a port on my home network's ethernet switch.
The time capsule works great backing up via wireless a macbook I own.
Haven't had any bad experiences or problems with it. Have owned it for maybe 2 or 3 months now.
10/11/08 Update:
I wanted to add, my Mac's hard drive died, so I restored from the Time Capsule. I had a 60gb drive worth of files and the restore took around 24 hours. So restoring a full hard drive that is big can take a long, long time.
