I didn't research this as much as i should have, no. I'm new to apple, and I had been increasingly pleased with what it offered. Streamlined this, idiot-proof that. I figured apple wouldn't manufacture a product with so few uses, moreover one such product couldn't be around since nobody would buy it. But after receiving this product, breaking the holy apple seal, i am going to take a loss and sell this on ebay for some other sucker. I simply HAVE NO PURPOSE for this thing. I was expecting more of an external hard drive capacity. I absolutely despise the DRM on apple content.
