Customer Review: Excellent Product but Apple still has to provide Subtitles on Movies

I have Apple TV for 6 months now and its an wonderful product for ITunes users. Wifi works great with Youtube and video streaming is better than what people report. True 1080p resolution adds the quality to Plasma TV. No major complains though I wish there was a way to put it into standby since it runs pretty hot (just the video shuts off with the option) and Apple seriously needs to work on providing Subtitles support for the Movies and TV shows and make Cable TV channels available at better price. Wonder if Apple can provide Mac OSX support for web browsing with next software update.

I am not a techie by any means, setup was easy, and I like the box so far. I use it to display my digital photos with our music from itunes, great to listen to music with your our photos going by as a screen saver. We have downloaded several HD movies which is awesome, I think the movie rental and price is better than DirecTV, which we have also. The only surprise was with our 2.5M Internet service a HD movie takes around 2 hours of download time before you can start to watch, a standard movie takes about 5 minutes. Not a big problem, we just have to rent movies before we are ready to watch them.Customer Review: Amazing product

So far a great experience with my new Apple TV. Setup was a flash. I was able to connect it, connect to the internet, and connect to my Itunes in less than 10 minutes. I decided to sync all my music/movies/etc so that took all night but you really should only have to do that once. Image quality on HD rentals is amazing and watching shows on a big screen as opposed to my little IPOD is great.
The only thing I would mention is that at no point did I realize no HDMI cable would be included. Fortunately I had bought an extra one but make sure you but an HDMI cable with the Apple TV.

Hello, Unlike anybody else this unit can play your iTunes. It streames everything on your computer to it's hard drive and then plays your music accompanied by a slide show. It operates seamlessly with TV programs and movies. Easily request the movie in regular defintion and in about a minute it's ready to watch in 5.1 surround sound. I recomend it! It does warm up so i've plugged it in to a "swiched" outlet. It is an Apple product, so go ahead an expect seemless operation regardless of interruptions and the like. It's time to stream your TV and movies!Customer Review: It's made by Apple...what can I say?!?!?

I don't know what all the low scores and complaints mean for this item! It works exactly as described, and if you do your homework and spend a little effort in front of the computer, you can enjoy thousands of free movies downloaded from the internet! Music while your photos are being displayed is a great background when you have family visit, and 160gb is enough room for about 50 movies+!!! Youtube is much more fun on a 50" screen too!! Another great product from Apple that works seamlessly with my iMac!!!
