Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple Nike + iPod Sport Kit for iPod nano 1G, 2G, 3GCustomer Review: Great Motivation & Easy to Use Summary: 5 Stars
I have had this for several months. I was not a runner before I purchased the product but wanted to start running and needed motivation. The sport kit lets me create a goal and tracks my progress. And the accuracy of the sensor is really impressive. Whether you want to run 10 miles over 4 weeks or 100, it tracks your progress and the number of times you've achieved your personal goals. You can look at your runs by day, week, or month, and see just how far you've come! I'm up to almost 200 miles run with the Sport Kit and it was worth every penny! I'll be running a half-marathon in January!
Customer Review: This is the only thing that makes me exercise! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought the sport kit because I love gadgets and I figured it would force me to exercise. I have NEVER run in my life, and as of today, I have run 17.75 miles since I started using this thing two weeks ago.
Nikeplus.com allows you to track your progress by run, by week, or by month and set goals for yourself, which is all extremely helpful to staying on track. You don't even need Nike+ shoes - just get an adapter that goes on your shoe laces, it works just as well.
I didn't think anything would get me to go running. Simply love this product!
Customer Review: Great product!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Anything made this cheap that can be used to motivate you to exercise is worth it's weight in gold! I got another pair of sneakers so I got another set for that. The only down side is that you have to keep on switching the receiver which I guess makes sense since other people in the gym might be using one too. Highly recommended. I'm looking forward to Nike's sportband
PS: When you have 2 receivers for the same ipod it'll show up separately in the Nike+ site and iTunes.
Customer Review: use it for walking Summary: 5 Stars
I've had Nike+ for a week & enjoy it. I use it for walking. The Nike web site with your exercise data is nice.
I don't have the special shoes, but have placed the shoe sensor under my sock, at the top of the shoe tongue, as suggested in David Pogue's new TV show. It works great, very accurate. The only downside is that my two-year old Nano now seems to run out of juice after about an hour. I haven't tested how much of that is due to Nike+.
Customer Review: Transform your Workout! Summary: 5 Stars
If I could give this product more than 5 stars, I would. I run outside a lot, but its awesome being able to keep tabs on the actual distance and performance of my workouts. You can sync your workouts (when you plug in your iPod to iTunes, you can set it to automatically transfer the data to Nike.com) so you can track all of your workouts and your progress. I was into running and training for runs this summer, but this completely changes my workouts! I love it!
