Customer Review: Weird problem when the batteries get low.
Summary: 4 Stars

I really like the wireless Mighty Mouse that I purchased with my iMac. It has a comfortable feel to it and I love the little multi-directional roller ball. The side buttons are kind of difficult to press, but I don't really use them for anything.

I ran into a problem, however, after about a month of use and never turning it off (it's supposed to go into low power mode during off-time daily use). The icons in the dock would animate when I ran the mouse cursor over them, but otherwise the system was entirely unresponsive to all left and right clicks from the mouse.

At first I thought there was something seriously wrong with my system. But it turns out the batteries in the mouse just needed to be replaced. I wouldn't have originally suspected that, because the cursor would move around normally.

So, keep that in mind. I have extra wired mice around, plus some rechargeable AA's baking at any given time, so I think I'm covered just fine in case that happens again.

Customer Review: Great mouse, with a few minor problems.
Summary: 4 Stars

All in all, I'm very satisfied with this mouse. I did have a problem however. After about 6 months, it got dirty enough that the up scroll stopped working. I've found this to happen in one other mighty mouse as well. It's close to impossible to open it up and clean it without breaking something if you don't know what you're doing. But I did it, and now it works fine. I expect I'll have to clean it again in the future.

There is a right click, as opposed to what some may say, you just have to change the preferences for the right click on your mac. Yes, the right click does only work about 95% of the time, but the sleek look of the mouse and scrolling feature make up for it. I love how you can not only scroll up and down but side to side. I also love the expose buttons on the sides. Very handy. As well as the dashboard button on the scroll ball. Altogether great mouse that looks awesome too.

Customer Review: Decent Mouse but way too Expensive.
Summary: 4 Stars

The mouse is pretty good, and I've had no problems with it so far. I got it just for fun, as I normally use a Logitech VX Revolution with my Macbook Pro. The Wireless MM responds very well, and because it is laser, works on a variety of surfaces including my leg and the carpet. One thing that's a bit annoying is the squeeze buttons - they aren't very practical. Although I use it for showing off, you normally wouldn't use it because it requires you to reposition your hand in order to use it. Coming from the VX Revo., I'd like to see a back/forward button, but I guess that would detract from the simplicity of this mouse. The mouse can operate on a single AA battery, to lighten the load when traveling, although I don't think this makes a big difference. I've had it for about a month now and have not had a problem with the scroll ball getting dirty.

Customer Review: Perfect for most home use.
Summary: 4 Stars

I love the sleek design of the Mighty Mouse. I love it's bluetooth compatibility, so that I don't have to use up a USB Port to operate it. I also love some of it's additional features, such as the ability to tile your "windows" by squeezing the mouse. The ability to turn the mouse off when not in use also makes it superior to most of the other wireless mice I've used in the past. All-in-all, it's exactly what I was looking for in a mouse, with only one exception. Since it's a one-button mouse, with the ability to "sense" a right-click, sometimes I have to right click two or three times before it registers. Normally, this isn't an issue. However, I would recommend that anyone who plays games on a regular basis also invest in a cheap two-button mouse (you can find them as cheap as $8.00 at your local Target) to use while playing games.

Customer Review: Great mouse, funky right click
Summary: 4 Stars

I have owned this mouse for about a year now...and I love it! I have my Mac Mini hooked into my 42 " plasma - so I surf the web, use the computer from my couch. My couch is about 12 ft from the mac mini, and so far there has not even been a blip with the bluetooth connection. I use my mouse in conjunction with the slim wireless keyboard -[...]- and so far so good! I really like using the little 'trackball' as I can scroll left and right - not just up and down, like most mice. I use my mouse on a fiberglass cutting board - which has a 'texture' surface - and the mouse tracks just fine.

I rated four stars for a couple of 'minor' complaints - first, the battery consumption is more than what I expected - second, the right click function doesn't work every time....overall a good mouse!
