Customer Review: Easy way to clean the ball

This is a good mouse. My only complaint is there's no way to program in a double click. To clean the little ball and restore your ability to scroll in all directions turn it upside down onto a clean sheet of paper laid out on a hard flat surface. Roll the mouse with moderate pressure on the ball, back and forth, up and down, round and round, etc, so as to let the paper absorb your finger grease in all dimensions and on all sides of the little ball. Flip it over and you're good to go again. Always use a clean sheet of absorbent paper, like copy paper or junk mail. It works every time. Problem solved.Customer Review: apple mouse so far so good

had this for a few months now & so far had no problems. I read about the scroll ball issues before i purchased, so I kept it in my mind. I regularly clean my mouse anyway, this i just rolled upside down on clean paper or use a cotton swab w/ alcohol, and have had no problems. In fact I've had to clean a lot less than I originally thought after reading other reviews. Being able to use the side handle buttons for other options along w/ the 360 degree scroll make this a good, solidly built mouse, but i wouldn't use while eating baconCustomer Review: Only genuine Apple products for my Quad 3Ghz Pro.

The mighty mouse is an awesome mouse. The only problem I have with it is the scroll ball but I have found that by taking a alcohol prep and rubbing the scroll ball and then spinning it will free up any loose dirt in the the mouse. This is a mouse that needs to be replaced twice a year. It is a small price to pay to have a great mouse. I do feel Apple could have done a better job by allowing the bottom of the mouse to be opened up so the rollers for the scroll ball can be cleaned. It's still a favorite mouse of mine.Customer Review: Decent mouse

I admit I didn't pay full price for mine, but it's a completely usable multi button mouse. The scroll ball works well, you can right click, click while pressing the scroll ball, and squeeze to click (that is 4 different types of clicks). I like the wireless mouse. But it is noisy with squeaks , a little stiff
and I cannot find out how to adjust the speed on it like the wired model.
I wish my wired model still worked it won't scroll both up and down .
