Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple Magic MouseCustomer Review: This really is Magic! Best mouse yet! Summary: 5 Stars
I've had my apple magic mouse since I bought my iMac back in February 2010. To me it is the best mouse ever! The people who complained about battery drainage are just lazy.
All you have to do is make sure you have rechargeable batteries on hand. I have a few sets and I always make sure to have a charged set available. Never a problem.
I think it's very ergonomic. I have problems with carpal tunnel and never have any problem at home. It's at work that my wrists kill me when I have to switch back to a standard PC mouse ugh.
The touch scrolling and zooming is awesome! And since you use your fingers a lot , this reduces some wrist strain I personally feel.
The bottom line is this.. if your fussy and you don't have any patience to learn something new like touch scrolling/zooming then don't bother with this mouse. If you like newer technology this mouse is the way to go.
The bluetooth technology enables accuracy of the mouses laser. And with customizable options like controlling tracking, scrolling, click speed and you can even add a right click option. There is no reason you should have any problems with this mouse. I could never go back to a regular mouse!!!
Customer Review: Fantastic! Summary: 5 Stars
This mouse, was love at first sight!
Just not because the look really impress, but also because it's a really confort mouse!
It's not that big, that you see just it, os that tiny, that you barelly can let your hand on it.. the size really fits and the lines makes it confortable!
As a mouse, the one button makes it really easy to use..
You can zoom in or zoom out without take your hands of it, can page up or down just moving your finger on it's surface, same for changing pictures during a view.. There's also right click and left click too! =P
All it makes is turn your life easier, faster and more enjoyable!
It's pretty, good, no wires and comes in a box you can keep, to keep your mouse always ok! =]
I have just on con: my mac doesn't find it always.. it just works if I turn the mouse while my mac is turning on.. if my mac is ready and I turn the mouse on, I have to make it find my mouse manually.. But not that big deal.. it's easy to do that, but, I'd prefer it does it itself!
Maybe is my mac/mouse problem, or its a real problem, but nevertheless, I still highly recomend it!
Customer Review: A mouse worth trying out! Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using a Logitech MX Duo wireless keyboard and (mx700) mouse since 2003 and have loved it because of its durability and ergonomic design. The batteries last forever too and the mouse has rechargeable ones which save on cost. Although I absolutely love the logitech, it took up a lot of space and ever since the magic mouse came out I was curious on how it was. I finally gave in and got the magic mouse and so far I love it, but it does have some drawbacks:
CONS
- If you're used to an ergonomic mouse it won't be comfortable. Having a cushioned mousepad will help.
- The batteries drain really fast. In the week I've used it(~8hrs/day) the battery level went from 100% to 81%. Rechargeable batteries are a must if you want to save money.
Although there are some cons, the pros definitely outweigh the negative aspects:
PROS
- It looks really nice and matches my new apple bt keyboard
- magicprefs or bettertouchtool will greatly enhance user experience with multitouch gestures
- will work on almost any surface
- small enough to travel with
Customer Review: Makes Mince Meat Out of Those Other Mice Summary: 5 Stars
An elegant design from another galaxy. Who woulda thunk you could improve on a mouse? What's next? Will Apple reinvent the wheel?
A work of art worthy of MoMA, the Louvre, the Prado or the National Gallery ... that makes all other mice look like goofy antiques.
Hold down the <control> key on your Mac ... swipe the "Mighty" Mouse to zoom in/out. Or you can set it up to use the <option> or <command> keys.

Customer Review: A revolutionary leap in mouse ergonomics Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using my Magic Mouse for over a couple of weeks now, and all I can say is Wow--why did it take so long to come up with such a optimally designed high-performance mouse? For me it feels perfect in my hands, as if I had been using it naturally for years now. All aspects of the mouse--cursor movement, scrolling, on through to the "magical" touch-sensitive surface--work really, really well. It is highly responsive, and I have learned to use the touch sensitive surface in completely innovative ways unimaginable with a traditional mouse. The key is to lightly glide one's finger(s) over the surface, it doesn't take much for the mouse to recognize your finger movements. I can imagine that over the coming months I will become so versed in using this mouse that it will be almost impossible to go back to the old-fashioned mice, it would be like going from a Porsche back to a Chevrolet or something. This mouse is classic Apple design and revolutionary technology through and through, it's just an amazing device to use.
