This unit gives clear sound even when very loud. It is neat and sleek. The batteries have a good life and it is very portable. The remote is adequate but it would be nice if it had a nitch for it to reside in; I always lose the things. I put the unit in our car and run audio books off the batteries on trips as my car speakers leave much to be desired. The road vibrations will loosen the iPod but in the house, the iPod seats nicely on its nitch.Customer Review: Terrific product!

I've been spending so much time at the office on the weekends that I decided I wanted to be able to listen to my iPod at the office. I unpacked the iPod Hifi and in 5 minutes was listening to it. Music and speech as exceptionally clear -- not shrill, not boomy. Bass, mids and highs all sound natural. Plus, the unit is one piece, which makes it easy to set up. I'm thrilled!
I highly recommend the iPod Hifi.

We enjoy this on Saturday nights at our neighbor's bar since my husband has every son imaginable and now can play them all at a touch of the button on this quality sound machine. It can definately get loud enough and the sound quality is something to be heard. I'd recommend this to anyone. Fantastic sound quality and clarity from a small package. Beats other similar brands handily, particularly for room-filling volume. A bit pricey, but certainly worth it. Comes with several iPod adaptors to accommodate all models. I'll keep my comments short and simple... the iPod Hi-Fi produces outstanding quality sound at all volume levels. What's particularly impressive is its ability to play very loudly without any distortion.
If there is one drawback to the unit, it's price. $300 is a little on the high side for most people, but to my ears, it was worth it.
