The Airport Extreme Dual Band lives up to the hype. It really works with mixed networks as advertised, and is so simple to setup my Mom could do it.
Home wireless networking used to be a challenge but now it's plug and play.

So easy even a caveman can do it! Worked properly right out of the box. Network setup screens walked me through perfectly. I've struggled with other brands of wireless routers to get them set up. Like all Apple products, the Airport Extreme is easy and fast to set-up. Even when you're looking to make the process complicated the programing steps in and leads you by the noise. Effortless, great wireless performance and fast networking.

I replaced my Linksys for this router and connected a 500 gb external hard drive to it. It took me less than 10 minutes to get it going and I now can sync my computer, the the external drive, over the network. I have only had it for a day, but I am sure it will be fine.Customer Review: Excellent

This is really the best router out there. Configuration is easy, the double band is great. And I don't even use all its features. Highly recommended, worth spending a few more dollars to get the best product.
