I was happy to find this original Airport Card on Amazon for a great price. Apple no longer makes this model and the newer Airport Extreme cards will not work in the older Macs. I'm not sure if the opposite is true. You may be still be able to use this card in a newer Mac, but I'd opt for the Airport Extreme. The installation of this original card in my iBook G3 was very easy and it works great at home and in places with wi-fi.Customer Review: Watch out, this does not fit an Apple iBook G4!

Recommend and rating, hard to say. My intent is to make sure that people don't make the same stupid mistake that I did! An Apple iBook G4 can only accept an "airport extreme" card. I suspect that most of the latest generation ibooks, powerbooks, and powerpcs and etc can only take the extreme card. Do your homework beforing buying the M7600LL card.

I received the product with fingers crossed I might add as it is used but it is great . Installed it in to my younger grand daughter computer and it works great. Seller was good ,fast shipping , great price also
