Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Antec Nine Hundred Steel ATX Ultimate Gamer PC Case (Black)Customer Review: Works perfectly Summary: 5 Stars
I've had this case for about 6 months with a 680SLi motherboard, 650 Watt PSU, 640MB 8800GTS, E6700, 500GB Samsung HD, and no problems whatsoever. It was easy to hook everything up, and there was plenty of space. The ports on the top are very handy and I love its geeky styling. The huge fans create lots of airflow and are pretty quiet. Actually, I think the loudest fan inside is the stock one that came with the CPU. Some day I'll replace that fan with a quieter one, but it runs cool enough with that one, so it's not urgent. Also, this case seems to be plenty big, but not overly gigantic. Buy one!
Customer Review: Antec Nine Hundred case Summary: 5 Stars
I purchase this case for my 12 year-old son who wanted to build his own computer. He chose this case after reading the specifications and because of its looks (see-through panel and blue lights) and the price. He was able to follow the instructions in the manual and got his computer assembled and running without problems. We did call Antec customer support to clarify two things: 1) that the fans act as LED and 2)the audio port connection (AC'97 connector to Audio on mother board) on the motherboard. They were very helpful. He's very happy and proud of his selection.
Customer Review: Great looking, great cooling Summary: 5 Stars
Comes complete, good layout, somewhat more difficult compared to others to work with hard drives as there isn't a simple lever to release to gain access like other cases. But, it is quiet for sure, I am running at the medium settings for all fans, keeps my system cool. Not overclocking, but have a full system: 3 internal hardrives, 2 external hardrives, ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe, 2G ram, 2 DVD burners, ATI 1900 XTX, AMD 4400, etc. and I can finally close my case! Normally needed to leave it open to help keep it cool. For me this is a sweet case, looks cool too.
Customer Review: sweet Summary: 5 Stars
I love mine. A nifty case. No problem with fitting everything, including a gtx280 and a Zalman 9700 (which works real well oriented with the large top vent). It's handy, roomy enough, not too big, plenty of air, and not loud with all fans on low. I experimented a lot and the cooling wasn't really better with the fans on high.. I tried lots of combination's. Low speed gives good consistent airflow with minimal drag and noise. I have an E8600 at 4.5ghz 1.41v and it gets up to about 50C under Crysis, about 60C under stress test. Idles around 30C. .
Customer Review: ULTIMATE GAMER'S CASE Summary: 5 Stars
With four case fans included (three 120's and a massive 200mm top fan) and a distinctive look incorporating a chevron side window and mesh front, the Nine Hundred brings a lot to the table in both performance and aesthetics. I like the drive bay design and while the interior is conventional in most respects, it's very well executed and relatively easy to work in. If you're a PC enthusiast that values cooling performance in a chassis, make sure to give Antec's new Nine Hundred chassis your attention. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
