Customer Review: Fixed all my computer hanging problems!

Given the hot Los Angeles weather recently, my computer was heating up at well over 60C and my passive sink GPU was going over 67C! I had freezing problems, the computer would have trouble starting up after sleeping and sometimes it wouldn't even start Windows. After installing this fan right below my GPU it was like a miracle. I checked SpeedFan and my system maintained max 55C after leaving it on hot weather for 2 hours and my GPU maintains at 53C. All my freezing, hanging, restart problems went away. My dish network HD DVR sits on top of my Onyko AVR and both generate a lot of heat. I put 2 of these together and use the power out from the Onyko AVR to control on/off. Both now runs very cool and no more thermal shut down anymore. They are quite slim and not obvious at all when put in between the 2 equipments. There is no need to spend a lot of money on expensive cooling gadget. These fans should take care of all your cooling needs. The noise is moderate high but acceptable and does not make any difference once the movie is playing.Customer Review: Great, quiet.... What's not to love?

This fan sucks heat like crazy. At first I thought it was supposed to drawn in cool air, but it doesn't. It fits cleanly in my PC case, and really pulls out the hot air. I'm not a big PC gamer, so there's no GPU card, but whether you have a gaming rig or not, this is a good investment.
My only complaints are when I installed it, I had about half a dozen bloody cuts on my hands. The fan never hit my hands, so I'll assume it is haunted.

I have to say, the fan does have some noise to it, butnot enuf to be objectionable. It does the job well. I use it in poorly designed cases (such as the older Compaq Presarios) where there was never enough ventilation and there is no spot for a regular case fan. Place the fan as far up the motherboard's PCI slots as you can, heat rises and it seems to do a better job up there. If you want to cool your vid card, this is the perfect fan.Customer Review: Quiet Cyclone

This little fan does a great job! It is a lot quieter than the system fan, so much so I had to check to see if it was on.It moves quite a bit of air. I like also it takes the load off the sysfan so it dosen't have to kick up to full vacume cleaner howl anymore.I put it in under my 256mb video card in my Dell Dimension 8300. It was Very easy to install. A worthwile investment for any PC.
