Was getting error messages that my cooling fan configuration was failing and my PC was automatically shut down due to getting too hot. Then messages would alert me to high CPU usage. I opened my PC and did a thorough dusting as that was the real problem. There was an open bay which I ignored when purchased and it had to be sucking in dust for the past year. This Cyclonic Blower Case was very easy to install and my PC hardly makes any noise. Before adding the fan the rear case fan was working loudly. This cured that issue. Purchased this used PC with a manufactured date of 2004: a Gateway E4100 desktop tower. Still love this system with the next project of cleaning the CPU in order to add a new heat barrier also sold through Amazon. A memory upgrade is in order as well. For right now this little blower case allows me to use my PC until affording further (2 other) upgrades.Customer Review: Go fan, go!

This fan makes a world of difference - the crappy fan Dell provided me left the computer hot inside for long periods of time, making Beryl effects (Linux stuff) and my games run slower, or become darker for no reason, etc. etc...
At one point it almost made the Hard Drive malfunction. Too much heat, and I was saving a couple of gigs of info.
Well, found this little guy and I have to say I'm more than impressed. From the start of booting to the end of the shut-down script, this little guy just keeps blowing. Decided to put it under my video card - makes a world of difference now! Better performance, fan is blowing at a good rate (along with craptastic Dell fan, which doesn't blow much anyway)... I definatley suggest getting this if you have an extra expansion bay (I had to take out my 56K modem... Oh well)!

I had been having a problem with my computer running really hot, so for quit awhile I had been operating my PC with the cover off. That helped the cooling but exposed my PC to dirt and the noise level was high. I decided to get this fan because I could place it in a vacant slot right under my video card. My only concern being that it may interfere with the video cards fan and damage the cards fan, but that doesn't seem the case so far. Time will tell.I read someone is having noise problems with this fan. I haven't had any problems with noise so far (no buzzing like my video fan does at start up) and my computer is a lot quieter since I can put the cover on. Thats a load off my ears.
I would say you are safe with this fan if you can spare an empty slot to put it in.

This fan actually bring a new concept that PCI slot also could has a fan to flow out hot air formed in the case. And in my experience, because my case was small and lack on air flowing, and I put a huge ATI 5850 into my case, the case temperature increased immediately, the video card remains 50 in low runing state, and up to 75'C in the high peformance, which when card fan fulling performed. After that, I was seaching a better fan for my case, and I found out this is actually a possible fan that works for me. I brought it, and I put it into my case, altho the design of molex 4-pin connector is lose and lack, but over all it works incredible great! My ground state video card temperature down to 35'C and fully perform state up to 47~50'C, which is absolutely amazing. 100% recomand to buy it.Customer Review: Such a great design and well performance in case fan
