In this day and age, it's only prudent to have some extra cables laying around for a "you never know when..." event. And sometimes, you find yourself saying, 'Man, if only this USB cord was another ten inches longer!" So I have an assortment of cables (USB, HDMI, RCA, etc) laying around for just that purpose. I got this cable because I re-arranged my living room, and my extra USB extension cable was no longer long enough to connect my PS Move Camera to my PS3. And for the price, this thing's great. Sure, they've got longer cords out there, but I trust Amazon to have a good product, the price is among the cheapest out there (especially if you bundle an order to get free shipping), and it even looks nice in my opinion. I have a simple USB wifi adapter N class. There are however a few walls between me and the router and im not very close so i was getting about 1 or 2 bars of connection. i had bad ping in games and it just wasn't working out how i wanted. i decided before buying a PCI wireless card for the computer i would extend the USB adapter and see if i could get better reception and not lose speed. Well, it works perfectly!! i now have full bars on one indicator and 4/5 on the other, HUGE difference. Aside from that it feels sturdier than my other USB extension cable that came with a handy cam, wire casing is shielded i believe which idk, i guess thats nice. its 2.0 which is plenty fast. I recommend it for sure, plus you can get free shipping with a big enough order. whats not to like!?Customer Review: A darn fine cable, indeed! Do you concur?

I have to say, I'm really impressed with Amazon. By far, all my shopping takes place in their proverbial 'jungle'. Their new line of AmazonBasics cables is a great example of that.
Quality, quality, quality, quality....and then, price, price, price, and price. Amazon's nailed it my friend...nailed it to the wall!
For the price, the quality seems to be quite good. Much better than shelling out 15 bucks for another brand's cable. The length is more than adequate. 9.8 feet will just about reach any distance that you need it to cover. I use my cable in conjunction with a Belkin USB 4 Port. And man oh man, it's more than adequate. So far, the cable hasn't failed.
Way to go Amazon! Good job!

I bought a pair of these cables because I had USB cables all over my house that didn't reach far enough with their stock cables. I used one to connect my 2TB external hard drive to my desktop. It allowed me to put the hard drive at the top of my computer desk in a pleasing manageable spot away from the desktop. These cables allow you to be very flexible in your placement of equipment.
I used the other USB cable on my portable devices, the cellphones and the iPad. The iPad doesn't charge as quickly, but it charges well enough. The cellphones are charged flawlessly. Instead of buying another, more expensive and longer cord for your devices, get one or two of these instead. They're inexpensive and work well.

Simple. USB extention cables. They are high quality and work without a flaw. The only caution I would give a potential buyer is tha the head on the female end is a little larger than a normal extention cable. It makes it easy to grasp and use, but if you need to fit it into a tight place, you may need to run it from the small end. Don't get me wrong, it's not huge, but some of the places we run cables can be tight anyway, so just note that. Otherwise I am extremely happy with these cables ( I bought 3 sets ). If you need usb extentions...buy these!! Don't waste your money on more expensive cables that do EXACTLY the same thing...carry electical signals to and from your pc/device.
