I have seen many reviews on HDMI cables that mention all HDMI (low cost or high cost like Monster) deliver same quality as they simply transfer digital data. I disagree. I have 4 different brands of cables from Monster, Sony to generic low cost. There is noticable quality difference, either with picture or the sound. Even two different HDMI cables by Sony that I have provide different quality. But this AmazonBasic cable definitely stands out on quality. Fantastic picture and sound quality. Bang for buck. As soon as I seen it, I knew what one to buy. At wal-mart, you can get a 3 foot hdmi cable, hd video and sound, for 20 bucks. Here on amazon, you can same cord, only 10 feet, for 8 bucks, plus it's compatible with 3d tv's... I don't have a 3d tv, but this was a great deal. There's only been one problem, while playing my xbox 360, the screen flickered once... but it could have been my xbox or my tv.. or a loose connection, but it hasn't happened for a while, and only once... so... one flicker was definitely still worth it..Customer Review: You don't need to pay a lot for HDMI cables.

PC World recently had an article about Technology's Biggest Myths. One of the most outrageous myths was "High-Priced HDMI Cables Make Your HDTV Look Better". According to the article, the only time you might be concerned about expensive cables is if they need to cover a long distance (8 meters or more).
I bought this HDMI cable to connect my laptop PC to my HDTV and it works just fine. I also tried it connecting my satellite receiver to the same TV and the picture quality was excellent.

I have a 1.5m Monster HDMI cable that I paid over a $100.00 for that is made of the highest quality materials and procedures. I needed a longer cable and didn't want to spend alot of money again on a new one. So I ordered this cable for a fraction of the the cost of a Monster cable and it performs just as good if not better as the Monster cable. You could buy about15 of Amazon's cables for the cost of just one Monster cable. Great job Amazon for a great
product with an unbelivable price.

I changed my 1080p flat screen from the coaxial cable to the HDMI cable. The difference between the picture before I added this cable to after was amazing. The picture was so much clearer and sharper with outstanding detail and vibrant colors. I never expected just changing the cable could make such a difference. Why pay store prices of up to $70 when you can get such a good quality picture for $11 with shipping. And the frustration free packaging was a very common sense approach to packaging.
