I recieved my Kindle DX as a gift and was certain that I would not like it one bit. Nothing beats the feeling of holding a good book in my hands while curled up in my favorite recliner ... Well, my husband knew this, of course, and also ordered me the DX Cover. It's really quite wonderful ~ it smells nice, is soft on the inside, easy to hold ... made all the difference to me. Solid, respectable cover for Kindle DX. Uses Side lock to attach to Kindle so no messy straps. Bottom and Upper cover holds built in magnets that keep them in place. Quality is perfect. Sought about even small details having special designed cuttings for the joystick that not touch it but covered as the whole with textile so you would not notice it. Great inovation! No more lugging books in the luggage and chewing up my 50# weight limit when traveling. Easy to use, even for the beginner. For the 'non-techinical' individuals, please dont'be afraid to give this 'book' a chance. The cover is great. I travel with my Kindle everywhere. The cover keeps the face clear. My Kindle is easy to carry and goes through airport security with ease. The warrenty is wonderful. The bottom latch got twisted and the company replaced it by offering me a new one if mine was damaged. They took care of everything. If you don't have this Kindle cover, buy one today. I was a little skeptical to buy without feeling it first. But I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get the kindle in the cover. It makes holding the Kindle easy because it is more like a book. It is not bulky.
If someone were in a dusty area or around kids with PB&J fingers, I might recommend a totally enclosed one, but for everyday use I think it is a very "user-friendly" case.
