I am an avid reader and love the look and "feel" of hardback books. After reading favorable reviews of the Kindle, I thought I would try it, but thinking I would still want to continue reading "regular books". After purchasing my first book from Kindle, I was really hooked, after just reading a couple of chapters. I like that the Kindle DX is the same size as a hardback book and the print is relaxing on my eyes. I purchased the leather cover, which is a great protector when carried or put into a briefcase.Customer Review: Just what I needed

If you're going to shell out the money for a Kindle DX, then shell out a little bit more for this cover. Not only does it protect your Kindle, it also helps you prop the Kindle on your lap or on a table while you're reading, just as you would a book. I love it when I'm using a recipe because I can stand it on the counter, unlike a cookbook which usually closes itself right when I'm trying to check on the amount of an ingredient. Easy to use, practical, and durable ... thumbs up to this product!Customer Review: Haven't had any problems.

Sleek design, easy use and the 2-year extended warranty that protects my Kindle should those tales of cracking be true all work together into one great product. I've had this for a while and, though I haven't opened it the wrong way and cracked my Kindle screen, it is a concern if I heard correctly. my husband is blind and our family gave him the Kindle DX for his birthday; I subscribed online through Amazon.com to the Washington Post so he can use "text to speech" and listen to his newspaper everyday. We are Washington Post subscribers for over our 54 years of marriage, plus before that time, my husband lived in DC and subscribed to the Post for years.
I set up the Kindle Dx and he can listen everyday and loves it!
