I purchased another cover from M-Edge before, and frankly I was a bit disseminated. Then I saw my friend's cover and how nicely it flips around so you an take the front cover and bend it back behind the back cover to read quite optimally on the go. Also, it is very slim and seems quite durable, like it will protect the Kindle quite well.
That being said, sorry Amazon, the only thing that really annoys me is the darn Amazon/Kindle logo on the front. I would prefer the option to remove this, personalize it or something else. Were someone to be inclined, they would steal a Kindle quite happily, but if they thought it was just my personal organizer they would be less inclined. I don't like paying to advertise Amazon's products, and I don't appreciate the label.
Other than that, it's great and I absolutely love it.

...at first I thought it was a little overpriced but after comparison with similar covers for other ebook readers, I decided it was reasonable...the design is elegant and functional...the magnetized cover works very well and keeps the cover securely closed...I see some people have had a problem with the case cracking when -- apparently -- they try to lift the Kindle away from the right hand cover...upon closer examination I can see how this could happen if sufficent force were applied...however, what I don't understand is what motivated them to do that in the first place...it seems very obvious that the Kindle is meant to lay flat against the right cover and that it isn't meant to be lifted or pulled away...nevertheless, with that caution in mind, I think most readers will be quite satisfied with this product...Customer Review: Solid, stylish cover for DX

Received the DX cover the day before the DX. Good thing too - the strong leather smell or it's treatments anyhow are very pungent at first. Give it a good breathe before using - or not. Doubt it will make the DX smell of leather. I did find the back cover with a smudge on it. Could have been a pressure mark or a defect, hard to tell. The slide that keeps the DX in place was stiff, not at all a snap into place. I had to pull it back and push it closed. Seriously doubt it will come loose. It never has on my Kindle II, that's why I know it won't come loose. So this is the big brother to the 6" cover and I prefer it to the synthetic materials. Just sort of makes the e-reading experience more like holding a fine leather bound edition hardcover book. Silly, I know but I like it.

I purchased the KindleDX leather cover to accompany my KindleDX and highly recommend others to purchase this, or a similar cover. The Amazon promo video shows a student using a KindleDX on campus, then sliding it into his bag, but I doubt the Kindle front surface would remain in good condition for long as scratches would soon develop. For me it was a no-brainer to purchase a cover for the KindleDX as I can safely place it in my backpack etc knowing that the KindleDX will not get damaged in any way. The leather cover I purchased from Amazon is of sturdy construction and looks as if it will wear well over time. For us UK customers, the KindleDX is already pretty expensive, so a good cover is needed to protect that investment. I bought this cover together with my DX after reading the warnings from others about the possibilty of cracking the cover.
Here's what I did to mitigate that possibility: Went to Wal-mart where I bought adhesive-backed Velcro. Cut two small matching pieces of each (stick them together, then cut them out). Stick the stacked pieces to the inside corners of the back cover and the back of the DX...this is easy since you can lift the cover up a good inch to get your Velcro inside. Squish the leather back and the DX together and, voila! you don't have to worry further. The Velcro gives enough resistance that if you pull up on the back cover by mistake you'll know because it won't easily come off.
Hope this helps as the cover is really excellent.
