HIGHLY recommended!
I purchased these speakers so I could carry them to and from work in my backpack to allow listening to my iPod at work. I was quite surprised with how elaborate the setup is:
* comes with a very nice non-descript black bag that is lined with a soft layer on the inside and perfectly sized compartments for each of the components (speakers, power cord, etc), and the bag with everything in it fits very easily in my backpack, or can be carried by itself.
* little 'tray' that iPod sits in folds back into speakers making unit snagless and VERY small
* speakers can either be powered by AC adaptor or batteries.
* sound is can be turned up MUCH louder than my buddy's speakers which are much larger and cost much more. Sound is VERY good for such a small unit
* also has component output for video (I've yet to use that), a subwoofer output for subwoofer purchased separately, and aux input
* has iPod connector in back to hook up iPod to computer while still plugged into speakers
So because these sound so great and the unit is SO small, I've found many more uses for it... in the bathroom while showering, in the garage while working on the car...
