Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Altec Lansing M604 Powered Audio System for ZuneCustomer Review: Great addition to the home entertainment system Summary: 5 Stars
The Microsoft Zune and the M604 have been on sale for a fraction of their MSRP value making these an important addition while adding market share vs. the iPod.
The M604 dock is of very solid design and functionality, the sound is excellent the bass very solid. The pass through video function to watch your pictures on your TV is a great bonus.
The only problem, as others have mentioned is the weak remote. Once you start playing music, you can move forward and back through your playlist, but you cannot navigate the menus of the Zune. You can additionally control volume/bass/treble and pause/play your video/audio content...you can also fast forward/rewind through a video.
Customer Review: Sleek design - Good sound Summary: 5 Stars
This was a great choice for my son's room. It is compact, sleek design yet gives a decent and loud enough sound. I can hear it in the kitchen and like with most teen-agers have to tell him to turn it down and I like loud music. The remote is an added feature. Plus, it charges his Zune while docked, which is great. There is also a cable to hook to his TV, so he can watch his videos from his Zune on his TV, which is kind-of cool (not sure if he has hooked up this feature yet). There was also an order blank for bracketts to hook it to the wall, which I think he is going to do. They were not expensive and will make more room for all his electronics and games.
Customer Review: Great Sound...A Zune Plus Summary: 5 Stars
Where I live, it is difficult to find Zune products or Zune compatible products. By the way, Zune is far superior to ipod. Anyway, finding this audio system was a blessing. The volume of the system can be controlled by remote (yes, it would be nice if the Zune could also be remote, but that is another issue altogether). The sound of the system is as good, if not better, than most stereo systems I have owned. Believe me, if you want to break away from the earphone (or earbud) tether at home, this is the only way to go. It's worth every penny.
Customer Review: Very Good Sound, Great Product Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this Altec Lansing Audio System for my Zune and was very pleased with its performance. The sound is plenty loud enough to fill a room and the Bass and Treble sound levels are customizable to your personal taste. My Zune plugged into it without a problem and began charging, which was nice when I was on vacation and could use it as a charging station as well. The Speakers are not small, so I would not say they are ideal for travel; however, I was happy using them as a travel accessory.
I recommend this product to any Zune user.
Customer Review: Nice for your room... Summary: 5 Stars
I don't have a Zune but, I connect my Pioneer Inno to it using the input in the back and its sounds awesome... The Inno home dock fits on top of the Zune dock perfect and looks like if it was part of the speaker system... This speaker produces excellent sound quality and even the bass is decent for a system at this price... The remote works well, is small, and easy to use... I wish it had a led on it though to know when the battery is getting low... I have had it for 9 months now and it still works great... I'm thinking of adding another one...
