Just wanted to let anyone know who was thinking of purchasing this product DO IT. It is beyond what I thought it would be, VERY clear Highes unless you put it at full blast,"which can probably be heard thoughout your entire house" and the lows are great. Its not going to knock any of the family pictures off the wall but this product produces a very nice thump. I use this product in the bathroom when im taking a shower and can hear the vocals clearly over the water. I looked around at other products before purchasing this unit and for the price you cant go wrong with this one, you wont be let down. The only thing i do not like about this product is the volume is a little hard to adjust, instead of tapping the up or down arrow you have to hold it but besides that i have no regrets buying this unit.Customer Review: Great alternative if you cannot afford a Bose.

There aren't many sound dock selections out there for Zunes since it's not as popular as the Ipod, so this was a great find. I bought the Altec Lansing M604 for my dad since he's one of the few people that own a Zune and he didn't have a speaker system to play his Zune on. I wasn't expecting much from it since it was very light in weight and didn't seem like there was much to it. He used on x-mas day and it worked great! It's not Bose system, but I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality of this sound dock. It filled the entire house with music, and had a decent bass. We actually had to turn it down because we couldn't hear the movie we were watching in the other room. Great, inexpensive alternative to the more expensive items out there and it's compatible with Ipod as well.Customer Review: Great product, but check prices

I own one of these devices already, and have been happy with it, especially given the very reasonable price I paid for it. Altec Lansing appears to have discontinued it, though, and the prices for the remaining stock seem to be absurdly high.
You should consider buying Kicker ZK500 Zune Speaker Dock (Black), Altec Lansing inMotion iM414 Portable Audio System for Zune, or iHome Dual Alarm Clock with Speaker Dock for Zune (Black) instead. All of these items are reasonably priced.

Very happy with this purchase. Bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday. Finally got to hear it last night and I have to say we were both very impressed with the sound quality! This compact unit really does have a big stereo sound with it's deep bass and crisp treble, which you can adjust to your own taste, a big plus. This unit easily beats out my Memorex imove boombox for my ipod in that regard. Where my imove is good listening for the office, you can really rock out with this Altec system. Plus, I can even hook up my ipod to this unit, which is also awesome. I was a bit concerned reading about the syncing issues but we didn't have any problems at all. I used to have the BOSE SoundDock as well as the Altec im7s. I paid $250 plus tax for both of the previously mentioned units, both were top of the lines.
These Altec m604s are smaller and much more portable and not to mention cheaper! (I bought them from perfect-condition-outlet for $199.99 and they arrived within 3 days with regular shipping!) Not only that, but they sound just as well, or BETTER!
This is probably the best set of speakers you can get for a Zune, no need to get an iPod because they have better accessories any more! Altec Lansing has hit the spot with this speaker, I would recommend it to everyone!
Conclusion: LOUD CLEAR STYLISH 100% RECOMMENDED!
