Customer Review: Just right for my needs

I spent half a day looking at the reviews and trying to decide whether to get one, as I have a very tiny desk at home and I was looking for a way to maximize my desktop space. I decided to get one and I just received it today - I immediately used it, and it was love at first sight (or use?)
The shipment came in very nicely packaged, and requires no assembly - just pull out of the plastic wrap and place on desk.
A lot of users complained about the wobbliness of this stand. I am a petite user of a 14" laptop, and my hands and arms are pretty small, so there weren't problems with the wobbliness unless I deliberately pound on my desk a lot (with frustration?). This stand is designed to elevate the laptop, which means it is normally used with an external keyboard. Otherwise if you still use the laptop keyboard on this stand (which I think sort of defeats the purpose of trying to elevate the laptop), it will unsurprisingly wobble a bit. It could get wobblier the larger your laptop is, but it's a perfect match for a 14". Of course, I am happy now that I am able to use the space below for my other peripherals (keyboard, touchpads, etc.) Also, the cross-section of the legs are actually flat, it helps for larger peripherals to lie flat during use. The square vents definitely help laptop ventilation, plus the surface of the stand offers a lot of traction and prevents slippage.
Overall, if you are looking for a laptop riser that's compact and provides up to almost a square foot of free space, get this. Take note that this product is made of relatively lightweight metal. If you think you are a heavy-handed person and would not prefer any wobbliness - look for something that's made of wood or solid metal with a 4-leg configuration - they should be less wobbly.
