Wow I have over 400 CD/DVDS some were in horrible shape I figured I'd have to buy new ones But, i came to Amazon and read the good reviews for this product and I bought it. Well, it works great!!! I repaired discs that had some bad scratches in them and thought hopeless!! Before throwing those old discs out give this product a try!! A very good product that works as advertised. In addition,one set of polishing pads was inadvertently left out. I emailed Aleratec and they were back to me in less than a day and shipped replacement pads immediately. A good company, with a good product, that takes care of it's customers. I bought this because of my frustration with receiveing scratched up dvd's in the mail from netflix. It does a great job of cleaning up and making all but the most damaged discs playable again. I purchased this for my husband who loves his CD/DVD's but can not for the life of him put them away and they wind up getting scratched. He had disks that were not playable until the Aleratec buffed and cleaned them. It is a process, and it takes time, but it's easy, inexpensive, and it works.Customer Review: Excellent Product for Price

I have tried several different products. This is the only one I have been satisfied with. It has fixed some severely damaged disks.
It hasn't fixed every disk, but I still give it 5 stars because I think it would take the really expensive $1,000 + systems to do any better.
