I researched many disc repair products before deciding on this one. The directions are a little unclear but with some of the tips listed in these reviews I've successfully repaired GameCube discs, PS2 discs, movie DVDs, music CDs and data CDs and DVDs. Some were lightly scratched and some where completely unreadable before the repair. If they have deep nicks or gouges you may need to do the repair part two or three times, but be patient, it does work.Customer Review: Excellent tool - really works!

I was skeptical at first, given the low success rate of other products I've tried. However, I can attest to this products effectiveness. It will repair light to moderately scratched disks and coat them with a protective layer. It has worked wonders on several of my Xbox 360 games that get continuously scratched by the unit. I wish I would have known about this little gem way sooner! If you get Netflix or DVDs from your local library this is a must have! This unit has taken care of all but the absolute worst scratches. (Which I hand rubbed out with Brasso then repaired with this unit to remove those fine scratches.) I highly recommend this product. Don't bother buying the cleaning kit - the repair kit and buffing wheels are what you'll want and need.Customer Review: It Works!

Briefly....this thing works great! I have had mine for 3 years now and it has cleaned and repaired hundreds of discs.The real test was repairing the Playstation games my Grandkids brought over...they were scratched terribly! Some took 2 or 3 cycles, but ALL were brought to working condition.
Tip: If you have a real bad disc, use the little wheel that you can do by hand to polish first, then use the machine.

I recently discovered that my local library has an amazing collection of music, but the discs aren't in the greatest of shape. Now when I borrow a disc I automatically put it through the cleaner with much improved results. This unit also fixed up one or two of my own discs with skips and scratches. I've found it well worth the investment as I build my collection of downloaded music.
