This camera is cheaper and better than the FlipCamera that seems to be popular. It will not replace my minidv camcorder but I will probably use it for quick, spontaneous video creation. I received this product from Amazon yesterday. I had the wonderful opportunity to open the package and use it today. I was very impressed about the video quality and especially still image quality. The camera is very easy to use and I was very impressed by the quality of the photos and videos from such an inexpensive camera. The only flaw I've found is that taking multiple photos when using the flash is a bit slow since the flash takes a few seconds to recharge. The Aiptek HD Camcorder is a terrific unit at a very reasonable price. Video and still pictures are of excellent quality, the unit is small enough to carry anywhere, built-in menus and functions are very intuitive, and I now have some excellent video of my grandchildren.Customer Review: Great picture & sounds quality! So simple! Awesome picture and sounds quality! I bought it for my fiances birthday and he absolutely loves it! It is the first thing he grabs where ever we go. It is so easy to go back and review your recordings and upload to your computer. I would highly recommend it.
