This camcorder is very good, and you cant really beat 95 bucks. The video quality is good on HD is still very adequate on D1 and CIF. It turns on and is ready to record within 5 seconds if that. I was somewhat disappointed that you can only view what you're recording through the flip on screen. I wanted a lens to view through but oh well. Also, to use the video in Window Movie Maker you need to convert the file, but it wasn't much of a problem for me. Overall a great buy.
