We've had this phone for a month and it works well, except that some characters in the caller id come up funny. Other than that, no complaints. The ringer is maybe a little on the loud side, even on the lowest setting. We turned the ringer off, since we have several cordless phones in the house and we only use this one as an answering machine.Customer Review: A good phone, but . . .

This is a good phone for the price. Voice quality and clarity is excellent and it works great as the "wired" base in the house. Two drawbacks are, the display panel does not light up and the wall mount is straight up and down with no attachment to give it a bit of an upward angle - it makes reading the display difficult.Customer Review: digital phone

This phone has been a good thing for my mother in law. She had difficulty hearing and the adjustable speaker and earphone have been wonderful.. She can hear the ringing and the lighted answering system have helped her tremendously. It is a landline phone so if there is a power problem the phone still works... I use this phone for my home office. Speakerphone quality is great and the MUTE button is really helpful (with baby and puppy making noises while on con calls).
Big buttons, easily readable caller ID screen.
The only downside is the sound. Even the lowest settings is pretty damn loud.

This phone is quite nice and reliable. The only thing I miss from my previous phone is the multiple, individual voice mail-boxes.
Other than this one item, I would highly recommend this phone to anyone looking for a voice-mail, answering machine, speaker-phone built into one unit.
