PROS:
* Voice quality incoming and outgoing is fine, no problems.
* Voice quality of messages is good.
* Speaker phone is good quality.
* Relatively easy to use, but takes some getting use to if you've never used a digital answering machine before.
* Nice number of options for how cheap it is.
* One touch memory dialing.
* Easy to review and delete messages.
* Volume control for ringer is easy to adjust and very useful.
* Love the mute button.
* I tried at least 3 other phones before I got this one. Many had very poor sound quality. Of all the home answer machines with one line, this was the best all around.
CONS:
* Like most phones these days, I find the handset to be too skinny, which can make it hard to hold onto for long conversations.
* The handset cord went bad after a few months, we replaced it for about $4.00.
* It automatically displays the last number you dialed. I don't like that feature, for privacy reasons when more than one person uses the same phone. Maybe someone who writes a review knows how to change this feature, but I could not figure out how to do it.
NOTES:
* I give it 5 stars not because it's a fantastic product, but because for the money the phone performs as it should and I had no problems with it that I could not live with.
* I've used this exact model in both a home setting and in a place of business. No problems with either one.
* I uploaded an image of mine at home, so you can see it up close in a real household setting.
