Customer Review: Adesso Steps Up!
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this tablet for a specific job without reading the reviews here first. I'm on a Mac, and at first couldn't get the tablet to be recognized, and all the software that comes with it is for Windows, so I went to the site and downloaded the available driver. Everything almost worked, except that it would take a full 3-4 minutes or more for Photoshop to process even the simplest of lines drawn with the pen, but not with either the tablet mouse or my trackball. I wrote an email to customer service, and not expecting much, requested an RMA to return the tablet.

A representative emailed me today with a brand new updated driver that hasn't made their site yet, and now the tablet works perfectly! I've even cancelled the RMA!

Customer Review: For the bucks...
Summary: 4 Stars

The pen and tablet work fine...they could leave out the $2.00 mouse. The tabs on the pen(R&L click) are very awkward to use so far.
Take some time to play with your settings...at first I hated the response but now it's OK and will be more useful with practice.
The software is lightweight and poorly supported.
I chose this over the $250 Wacom cause I'm not yet a pro and don't need the best or most expensive...and besides, the Adobe CS2 programs that I use it with are fantastic already.

Customer Review: Pretty good so far...
Summary: 4 Stars

This is the first tablet I've ever tried, so I can't compare it to the big guys like Wacom, but so far it works great for what I'm doing. Installation was as it should be with any USB device, and I didn't have any hiccups. It functions perfectly in Paint Shop Pro, and so-so in Xara X (haven't gotten it to recognize pressure sensitivity, but I'm not sure if it's the tablet or the app).
