This was exactly what I needed as I travel long distances daily.
Pros: Surprisingly short time to charge my laptop - very pleased on that score. Quick delivery (2 days). Simple to use.
Cons: As mentioned in other reviews, it is a little noisy. I guess it's some sort of fan to keep it cool. It's basically noticeable when the car is turned off, but not really audible when the car is running.
This was my first buy from Accessory Genie. (Now, for the record, I don't have any relationship with them.) But, they sent me an after sale email wanting to know what I liked or didn't like about the product and if I was happy. I think that's a first for me. Seemed like the type of people that would work with you if you ever had to return a product.

I have to say after a year using this product I am very pleased that it is still working just perfectly as like the first day I bought it. I have plugged my cellphone, MP3, video games, and even my laptop without a single problem. I really have put this product through some tests over the year and again, no problems. Haven't even had to replace the fuse as of yet; so that is very good. The only problem with the product is the fan is very load. I know it has to keep cool but it does get annoying. Other than that it has taken a beaten from use and is still working today so I give this 4 stars only because of the fan. Other than that this is a great product to have in the care for any emergency or to hook up any thing really.Customer Review: Power to travel

My retired parents travel a lot in their SUV and Mom "hinted" that she wished she had a car adapter for her laptop. I found this one and it appears to cover all the bases. It really has it all. She was thrilled when her "Surprise" package arrived and said it meets her needs perfectly. And now she has a Blackberry, so it works for that, too. Shipping was quick and the price was right. Of course, a happy Mom is priceless!

I purchased the Power Charger so I could use my lap top in the car while traveling Memorial day weekend. It is easy to use and I did not notice the fan being too loud. However after a couple hours, it stopped working. It apparently blew a fuse in my friends car or cigarette lighter stopped working. I'm not sure. I felt bad because she said it was working perfecly fine till I used that device. I tested it in my car while sitting in my driveway and the charger worked fine. I will need to try it on the road for a while next time I'm with someone to see if I have any future problems with it. It may have just been her car, hard to say.Customer Review: Works just Fine.

I was a little hesitant to buy this after reading the reviews about the noise and about the shorting out of the fuse. I used this on a 30 some hour trip and had no problems. The noise was only a factor if the device was turned the wrong way when plugged in. It is a little bulky, but I was still able to plug in the device. I rated it a 4 because of the size, but the device itself worked just fine. No problems in my car or my friends car after about 30hrs of continual usage. I had my laptop plugged in.
