We had to provide a meal for 20 soccer players after an away game. We were struggling to figure out a way to provide a hot meal to them since we would have over 2 hours from the time we left the house to when it would be needed. We weren't sure a crockpot would stay warm that long especially since we live in the North and it is cold already. We bought the adapter hoping we could plug it in so we'd have hot food for the boys. It worked beautifully. The food was steaming when we went to unplug the crockpot and serve the team. It was nice to be able to provide a hot meal and the boys really appreciated it. This will give us so many more options when traveling. We will be able to take hot dishes as well as plug in the kids laptops. I JUST DID A BRIEF USE OF THIS SIMPLE BUT USEFUL PRODUCT. IT WORKED GREAT. IT IS GOOD TO SEE A PRODUCT THAT HAS MORE THAN ONE FUNCTION. IT KEEPS YOU FROM HAVING TO BUY A CHARGING DEVICE FOR EACH ITEM THAT YOU USE. IT IS SO CONVIENANT. IT TAKES THE HASSEL OUT OF CARRYING SO MANY WIRES, CHARGERS, ECT. I AM SO PLEASED WITH ANYTHING THAT MAKES LIFE A LITTLE EASIER, IN THIS FAST PACED, HI-TECH LIFE WE FIND OURSELVES IN TODAY. THIS ONE SEEMS TO BE A KEEPER. BUY IT, TRY IT! I BOUGHT FROM AMAZON. THEY ALSO ARE GREAT.
ADDED NOTE: DON'T WORRY IF YOUR AUTO GEAR SHIFT IS ON THE CONSOLE IN FRONT OF YOUR CIGARETTE LIGHTER. MY GEAR SHIFT IS FAIRLY LARGE, BUT IT STILL INSERTED WITHOUT A PROBLEM WITH THE CAR IN "PARK".

Pro Series Car Travel Power Adapter / Charger is a great way to be able to charge any small electronic device in your car. It has a standard wall outlet and a usb port so you can charge 2 things at the same time. It worked great on a 2 week road trip my husband and son took recently. My son and his friend were able to charge their laptops, cell phones, and i-pods while on the road. This was half the size of the one that was stolen from us, that we bought a year ago. It was also under $30- whereas when you go into a store, they usually go over $50 for the same thing! It comes with all possible cables & don't think we'd ever find something that it couldn't charge. Since many vehicles have the cigarette lighters in some strange places, the neck rotates & is light & easy to store. Can't think of any negatives & highly recommend!
