I bought this item to give my Blackberry Torch an extra boost. I am an avid backpacker and go on trips where I'm without power for days on end. I bring my blackberry so i can listen to music and play games when its dark. This device charges via AC, USB and Solar-power, which is great. For it to work properly with solar power, it needs to be left in the sun to charge without anything attached to it. I would leave it on a rock while i was out fishing and hiking all day.At the end of the day, it would always be charged and provide me hours of power for my blackberry. This device worked great on my ten day trip and is a good buy for the price. Its slim and portable, so it didn't take up extra space. It also came with multiple connectors, and works great for my PSP and anything with a micro-usb charging port.It truly is a handy little device.
