With 16 parallel pixel pipelines, and six parallel vertex processing pipelines, the Radeon X800 XT Mac Edition delivers over twice the performance of its highly acclaimed predecessor, the Radeon 9800 Pro. The X800 XT Mac delivers unbelievable acceleration in a quiet, cool, single-slot AGP Pro 8x solution, with a variable speed, fan-sink cooling mechanism that leaves all of your PCI slots available for other, more important uses, and no need for an external power cable because of its efficient design.

The X800 XT Mac is equipped with workstation-class dual digital display connections capable of powering any combination of digital flat panel or analog displays simultaneously, with independent resolutions and refresh rates. With one dual-link DVI and native connectability to the Apple Display Connector (ADC), the Radeon X800 XT supports ultra-high resolution LCDs, such as a single 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display (2560 x 1600 resolution), as well as any legacy Apple Digital Display. Of course, you can also use both of these ports to connect standard VGA-type analog displays via adapters. (One DVI-to-VGA adapter included.)

The Radeon X800 also features high-precision 32-bit per-channel rendering, 256-bit quad-channel GDDR3 memory interface, and 3Dc technology that works with any two-channel data format providing high-quality 4:1 Normal Map Compression.
