This is a great little phone but I almost sent it back for 2 reasons. (AT&T, you've been around long enough to know better)! The darn caller ID display doesn't light up!!! How the heck can I see it without adequate lighting? Especially if I were to get a call in the middle of the night.
The speaker sounds great, the ringer is plenty loud and the unit is nice looking but that dark display!! (The contrast adjustment doesn't compensate for dim light conditions). I know batteries don't last forever but at least make it light up when a call comes in.
I also don't like the angled display window. My phone jack is about 5 feet up the wall in my kitchen but I have to bend down and look up at the display and that's not working for me. It would work sooo much better if it were flat and not angled.
I finally decided to use it as a desk phone but, even then, the changeable desk/wall mounting plate is really not well designed for wall mounting. It needs to tilt the phone more upward. Oh well, I'll keep it because, feature wise, it's exactly what I needed.

This product is as it appears in the ad; however, when I first installed the batteries and connected the phone to service - the dial tone would not go off. I unplugged it and had decided to send it back. Later my son plugged it in and it was fine. I guess it just needed some time to connect all the circuits. AND when I called customer service for help, it was totally mechanical and none of the questions matched my problem and there were no alternative numbers to call for help.Customer Review: Good Little Phone

I've recently purchased this phone. It is perfect for my familys use. The buttons are large enough for the older people to see & use easily. Really love the built in caller ID. Found that alot of phones do NOT have this feature. I would buy this same product again.Customer Review: CORDED PHONE
