I bought this phone for 4 days online class (audio portion was via phone). I was a bit worried that 4 AA battries won't last long. I was wrong. 4 AA batteries lasted the whole time (4 days x 8 hours = 32 hours) and did not look like I need to replace them at all.
The speaker was very loud and easy to hear, I was talking a bit as well and nobody complained about the quality. Please note I was sitting at my desk with the phone 2-4 feet away. I could clearly hear the speaker from 30 feet away, I did not try to speak from that distance.
This is cheap corded phone with speakerphone and does exactly what I expected.

Great, easy to use, and high quality telephone for the money. I needed a corded speaker phone with a mute function for taking business calls when I work at home. Sound quality is crisp and clear, even on speaker phone. Light indicator shows when you're on mute and speaker phone. It has a battery backup for power outages.
My only complaint is that you actually have to refer to the instructions to install the batteries, as the set up is not intuitive. Also, AT&T could have included a light indicator for the hold button. Overall, very satisfied with purchase.

If you're tired of cheapo phones that sound crappy, get this phone. A throwback to the days when hard line phones sounded great.
I chose to wall-mount this phone, and it probably is better suited to be on a desk or shelf, but the wall mount is adequate.
Sound quality is great.
It has big visible buttons, which is great for us people who get tired of trying to find our reading glasses just to dial a phone.
Real nice phone. I am pleased.

This was a good choice for a land line phone. Its easy to use and to understand. ATT has always stood behind their products also and I prefer to pay alittle more for quality.
This review may be short but its too the point. I always check out the name brands and compare prices before making a final selection and ATT phones are always within price range.

This phone has worked very well for me. I've had it for about two years. It displays the last 50 or so calls I've received and accommodates call waiting and call holding. I changed the batteries for the first time today after months and months of reliable use. So my experience has definitely been different from the other reviewer. Very good phone for the money.
