I deliberately selected this phone system because we were very pleased with an earlier model. For me me the best features are a very clear signal and an intuitive menu with a clear menu screen. I would have been happy to have a non-color screen, but the colors and customization possibilities are very pleasing. You can get up to 6 handsets to strew about your home/workplace if needed. Call answering, intercom feature, caller id, directory, are all very useful.Customer Review: WOW!!!

I think this has to be one of the best phones that I have ever purchased. The color screen is incredible, the features are endless, and the clarity is second to none. Works perfectly with my vonage connection,and it adds class to my home. Learning the phone and its many features is quite challenging, but once you get the hang of it, it is very useful. This is really a neat and compact telephone. Essentially, it has the same functionality as a telephone that I had owned for many years by AT&T which had started giving me problems. On that model, I really got my money's worth and it too was a speakerphone model. I am hoping that this new cordless telephone will serve me as well. The value which I hadn't mentioned up to this point, is also excellent.

Anybody else having problems with the redial? If somebody calls and you just miss the call, and you want to hit redial straight from the caller id info, it doesn't include the 1 first before the area code and you have to manually dial it every time. I tried to find a setting in settings but I can't seem to find it. Anybody have any suggestions on this? Other than that major issue it is a great phone.Customer Review: AT&T EP5995

In addition to being able to monitor messages as they are being left and other features now common to cordless phones of this type you can purchase an additional battery, same type as comes with the phone, insert it in the base and once charged will allow you to use the handset to make a call during a power outage. Also, the LCD display on the handset is in color, a welcome touch.
