Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of AT&T EP5632 5.8 GHz Digital BlueTooth Enabled Cordless Phone with Answering SystemCustomer Review: I'm so glad I picked this phone over all the others! Summary: 5 Stars
I don't want to write a whole lot about this product, but I have to just say that I received this phone today and absolutely adore it already! It's absolutely easy to set up. I got this phone because where I live I don't get enough service on my cell phone to actually hold convorsations, but I was able to set up the bluetooth very very easily and get the calls fine on that phone instead of my cell phone; it's extremely convienent. I'm not very good at understanding directions and you barely even need them with this phone, it's all practically self explanatory. Yes, you do have to manually imput your directory into the base and the phone itself, but it really isn't as much of a pain as you think. It's definately not a reason to get this phone! I'm extremely pleased with AT&T on this one and I would recommend it to everybody!
Customer Review: Really great purchase...maybe even epic! Summary: 5 Stars
Well, my wife and purchased this to be our house phone and have been very impressed. We live in a big metal box (trailer) and I have a really big yard for horses, etc. I can walk about 200 feet in all directions in my yard and still hear and speak clearly on the phone. The system has many nice features like wallpapers and setting different ringers for different callers. The blue-tooth links up with both of our cell phones without fail when we drive up to our house! The base is roughly forty feet from my driveway. Great purchase. Love it, love it, love it!
One down side though, when you enter a number into the directory for speed dial on the hand set, it is only for that hand-set. You cannot share directories from hand-set to hand-set, nor to the base speaker phone directory.
Customer Review: The BEST Home phone ever!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This phone is awesome. it allows you to have your home line and 2 active bluetooth connections all at the same time. At my home we have 2 cell phones however we have bad cell signal anywhere in the house. so what we do is place the cell phones with the best signal and then connect them to the EP5632. So you can make and recieve calls on all three lines (The Land Line and the 2 Cells). Also you can use a bluetooth headset just like you do with your cell phone. So if you want to you can just walk around the house with just the headset on your ear. This also would work great for businesses because you can use the base to dial the number and then just answer and end calls on the bluetooth headset. Anyway if you have any questions just contact me.
Customer Review: A year later... Summary: 5 Stars
I've owned this phone system for over a year now. I use it as an extension to my cell phone, linked via bluetooth. It's been very dependable and reliable. I've done radio interviews on it and the audio quality is much higher than many other guests I've heard interviewed. I would purchase it again. Know that the batteries that come with this unit will not last too long. You'll end up replacing the batteries about once every 12-18 months most likely. This is not the phone's fault. The batteries are cheap. Find a better battery pack for the replacement and you'll have longer lasting batteries. Also recommend buying a battery for use in the base station for those power outages that happen on occasion.
Customer Review: Excellent when paired with Oticon's Epoq hearing aids Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered this phone specifically for it's bluetooth capability. I am an audiologist. I have a patient who wears Oticon Epoq hearing aids. The hearing devices are paired to this phone and my patient can answer the phone from anywhere in her house, walk around the house talking "hands-free" and listening with both ears. It's fantastic. Before getting this AT&T phone, she could barely communicate on the phone she had (which was an amplified phone for hearing impaired users.) I plan on recommending this phone to each and every patient I have who has hearing devices that are bluetooth compatible.
