Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of AT&T 210 Corded Phone, Black, 1 HandsetCustomer Review: POT Summary: 5 Stars
Plain Old Telephone (POT) is what we use to call them. Every house should have one for X reason. Does not require outside power source, power outlet.
Some people say "what are you going to do if the power goes out and you need to make a call?"
well this is the answer UNLESS you get your phone line goes through a cable modem.... welcome to the future... cell phone, get one, use one, makes your head glow from radiation and increases hand eye cordination (texting).
END
Customer Review: A Decent Basic Phone At A very Decent Price Summary: 5 Stars
All the good reviews are justified. Extremely good sound quality. Just enough features to make it satisfying to use...last number redial, mute, lighted dial(Not the brightest, but still adequate), up to 13 numbers memory dialing.
As others have pointed out, the handset cord is a bit short, but it's easy enough to acquire a longer one if you want.
The phone seems pretty sturdily constructed and it's pretty inexpensive.....a good buy.
Customer Review: Corded Phones are Underrated Summary: 5 Stars
I bought 2 of these to replace our cordless phones. We have had many power outages that left us without a phone, not to mention times that our cordless phones were not charged long enough before a call came in and it cut off in the middle of a conversation. These are great phones, good clear sound, made very well and won't let you down. I highly suggest everyone have at least one in their home for emergencies at least.
Customer Review: Works fine as a wall-mounted phone Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this specifically to wall mount it in a confined space. You must adjust the plastic thing-y that holds the handset onto the base when mounted vertically so it doesn't fall off the hook. The instruction manual tells you:
"To install the telephone on a wall jack, you must
reverse a small tab beneath the directory card. This
tab holds the handset in place when you hang up."
Voila!
Customer Review: Beyond reliable Summary: 5 Stars
People say this is basic and reliable, and we can attest to that. We're purchasing a replacement for the Trimline 210 that lasted for 26 years! The old one in the kitchen was the main phone that everyone went to first. It survived the handset accidentally being dropped countless times and has worked in every power outage. No bells and whistles, just a reliable, sturdy product that does what it should.
