it got a lot of features with godd quality. very Clear Voice/ Great sound. I mean it is so darn easy to set up.even I could do it. when you press a botton it prompts and directs you on how to manipulate a feature.the instructional manual is a plus! At the price of this machine I feel that it is a real bargain. Often I used to forget to check for messages when I came home. One of this machine's most useful features is the beep alert to let me know that a message is waiting. Also plenty of room for outgoing message and incoming messages. I have found this is an excellent little answering machine.
The setup was a snap and the default voice for answering is pleasent and seems to encourage callers to leave messages and with 40 minutes of space they seem to wanna leave a whole lot. I found this to be a great value at the price.

I am very satisfied with the AT&T 1738 Digital Answering System. It has all the features that I wanted and the 40 minute recording time exceeds all others I had considered. It has functioned flawlessly since I received it.
