I bought this magnifier for my aunt. She's got macular degeneration and had been using a smaller, lighted magnifier. When that broke we tried to find something that would be an improvement. She's been using this one for several months now and is enjoying it so much that she forgets and leaves it on! We're going to have to invest in rechargeable batteried.
