Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of APC Back-UPS ES, 390 Watts / 650 VA,Input 120V / Output 120V UPS SystemCustomer Review: Excellent quality, and has a big brother (BE750G ) even better Summary: 5 Stars
This as a high quality item, with plenty high quality plugs that hold tight. I use it with its bigger brother, the BE750G, that is really clever. it monitors the computer power line, and when the consumption drops when the computer goes to sleep, it turns off three controlled outlets as well (leaves the others alone). I have external drives, and it works perfectly, and the computer finds the drives without issue when woken up. You can use these 3 controlled outlets for anything that consumes power or makes noise (my drives do both). It and this Es 650VA, the item being reviewed, are the same but for this feature. With a computer with a lot of devices, they make a perfect pair. Great, great ideas, and very well built, and package design is excellent.
