The power saver is a must for the home user. You never loose or damage a file due to a power interruption. This unit comes with software to automatically save and exit from applications that are running. It works very good in doing this. I use this for a PC and a digital multi-track recorder. Now I don't have to worry about losing important session data when I get summertime power blips!

I purchased an APC Back-ups 750 ES after my 5 year old APC 750ES failed. This is my 3rd APC purchase in 15 years. Always good products. My only complaint would be that the "trade up deal" they offer on their site is ...not a deal. Apc Back-ups Es BE750G 10 Outlet 750VA 120V Master Control. Excellent and well known trade mark. Our iMAC O.S. X.5.4 (Leopard) recognized it immediately and no need to use "Apples" energy saver utility screen. Seems quite sensative to power fluctuations and responds beautifully. I give it a A!
