This APC unit has transformed a hideous jumble of power cables into an orderly and space saving collection. It delivers clean, uninterrupted power to my computer and all five of my peripheral devices at a rock steady 120 volts. The software management program works flawlessly. Like a regular hard drive back-up program, anti-virus and security protection, a good UPS device is indispensable for protecting your expensive high tech investment. I am so happy that I decided on this product for my home office after researching fairly extensively. My son said this is a great company and we've had their other products that always worked well. I was tempted to skimp on the $29 model made by another company. Glad I didn't! This is a great system. Very sturdy, nice looking, and has smart functions via CD. Plus, damage coverage is impressive. I bought this APC to upgrade from an older (BK200) model which I had in service for many years. This model is a major step up and I was pleasantly surprised with the functionality of the software that comes with this unit...it's great. I'm very pleased with this unit and the history of good service with my older unit, which I passed down to my grandson for continued use....I definitely recommend this unit and APC products in general!Customer Review: Great product

I've bought two of these so far. The first one I gave to a family member when I moved, and bought a second one for my new place. It's a great UPS that has been very solid. I don't live in an area with many power outages but it's good to know I am backed up in case, as I have multiple harddrives and devices that I plug into this. I already own an APC UPS that I purchased over 10 years ago. It is still running strong. I hope that this one runs as long. This one has twice the power rating and hopefully will run well. I haven't had any blackouts or brownouts since purchasing this, but it will probably happen soon as the power goes out once every other month or so. Based on past experience with APC equiptment, I would say that this was a good buy.
