I have four of these. I work out of the home and have flakey power. I have a Windows PC, Linux Server, DSL modem, router and wireless access point in several different rooms. Every time the power would blip I would have to wait for all of this equipment to reset/reboot before I could get back to work and I would lose whatever I was working on last. Although these don't have much power they do keep me up in the blips and give me enough time to shut every thing down properly in case the outage is longer than a blip. I've had mine for a while now and replaced the battery once. It is still working great and I still think it is a great product.
I use VOIP for my home phone service. Therefore when the power goes out, I need a UPS for my cable model, router, VIOP box, and cordless phone base. Thsi works perfect for about 10 minutes or so even while speaking on the phone.
I used Packet 8 for years and the last year or so have been using Ooma. I have reviews for each of those if your looking.

When my old BackUPS Pro 650 woke me up in the middle of the night with its peeping I knew it was time to replace it. It was on its second battery and had served me well for years. I didn't need the capacity, and the APC BE350R was the perfect replacement. The 350 is smaller, more compact, cost about as much as a replacement battery for the 650 which meant the price was right. It's serving me well as I write this. If all you're trying to protect is a home PC it is the best way to go.Customer Review: Great for Cable/Phone Modem Power Backup

This is a fine UPS for small devices. I bought it to provide backup for my cable/phone modem saving $20 over what the cable company wanted for a UPS. There is nothing much to the setup - hooking up the wire to the internal battery takes a little manipulation though. When I pull the plug out of the wall, it switches over without a hitch, just like a UPS is supposed to and all the phones in the house keep working fine.Customer Review: APC BE350 R back up

Recd in record time, and came as ordered. My only concern was the fact that I had to install the battery myself before charging. It seemed easy enough however the battery leads were on the short side and I was concerned with stretch them to fit. It has been a great asset for my home, as now when the power shutoff momentary, I don't loose phone, internet or router. A huge plus, and the cost was ecconomical
