I have NEVER had a problem with this unit. I have a Projector, PS3, Xbox 360, DVR, and a Pioneer 7.1 receiver hooked up to this and it runs at about 70% - 85% capacity. Had a brown out with power and it kicked in to save my projector and other devices. I just purchased another one of these for my new Samsung Plasma. I would recommend this to anyone who has a flat screen TV, computer, or home theater. The only next step from here is whole house protection or a rack mount power conditioner with battery backup from APC, but that will run you close to $1,000... or more.
If you have a nice computer, TV, or home theater just buy this, you won't regret it.

Living in central Florida in the summer time with all the daily electrical storms can really spell doom for your electronic equipement. When we bought a new 52" Sony Bravia (from Amazon of course!) we didn't want to take any chances. We were concerned that this would have enough power to handle everything in case the power was out for a while and it has done all that and more. This unit will handle all brown-outs, power outages, spikes, and blips and will run everything for almost a half-hour with the power totally off! By everything I mean: The Big flat screen TV, the stereo, CD player, DVD home theater system, and the DVR recorder all at the same time. Sweet.Customer Review: A power back-up for all seasons!

The APC BR1500LCD 1500VA 900 Watts 8 Outlets back-up is the most impressive reserve of emergency power that I have seen available for home/office protection! This leviathan comes with eight outlets, two of which support the extended use of emergency power, say for computer and monitor for 45 minutes or so. All of the outlets have dedicated filtering as well as a front meter that provides a readout of how much electrical resource remains. Additionally, all of the necessary line hook-ups for t.v./telephone/fax/modem outfitting are provided as well as the computer software to enable a safe shut-down of one's power configuration.Customer Review: Clean power, great price.

Love my BR1500. I bought a Samsung 52" HDTV, and Onkyo 806 receiver. My home is 80 years old, and we have occasionally-noticeable current fluctuations. Having invested $2500 in a TV/Receiver, I felt a good UPS that would also condition the incoming power and remove noise was a no-brainer. Rather than drop $300-$400 on a Monster brand unit, I looked to APC for a solution. Already have 2 APC tower units protecting PC's and other gear in our 2 home offices and they have been great. This is a good unit for a home-theater setup. It's not petite, but the gray case and discreet display fit right in with the rest of the gear.Customer Review: Problem solved!

APC BR1500LCD 1500VA 865 Watts 8 Outlets BACK-UPS
My new plasma TV intermittently and often switched on and off without any warning or apparent reason while I was watching it. I called Panasonic tech support and they couldn't figure it out. I thought about it, called APC and we determined that the DC power coming from my 350VA UPS into my plasma TV was MUCH less than needed. After connecting this sweet new APC 1500VA UPS I've had NO problems whatsoever. Case closed!
