The buttons are very large and easy to find . The fact that you can put a photo over the button for easy recognition is great. You just pick up the receiver and push one button and you are connected to the number. This telephone has really helped my elderly father. He especially likes the 'light up' feature when the phone rings. Also, he can increase the volume to where he can hear it. This phone has come in extremely handy for my grandmother, whom it was purchased for. She now has much less trouble hearing when she is talking on the phone and the person she's talking to doesn't have to speak loudly or repeat themselves.
