I had been feeling some strain in my pointer finger and in the palm of my hand. I use a mouse all day long at work and there's no way around it. After buying this one my hand and finger felt better almost instantly. It took a little bit to adjust to it, but now I couldn't go back to the regular mouse. This is a great alternative to the conventional computer mouse. An excellent feature is the up/down toggle button on the handle that acts as the right click/left click. The second handy feature is that you can scroll up and down by holding a button and pushing the stick - extremely useful for word documents or web surfing!Customer Review: Great aid for reducing repetive stress

I have been using this mouse for over a year. It is easy to get used to and has really reduced discomfort in my elbow. I am at my keyboard for over 8 hours a day. As a programmer, this mouse has the added benefit that coworkers are less likely to want to push me aside to work when collaborating.Customer Review: Great Purchase!

This mouse has done for me just what I had hoped: No more pain in my palm after a day of work!
The only thing is, you need to get used to move the mouse with your entire arm. This feels healthier, but somewhat unintuative for the average mouse user.

I experiencied my first carpal tunnel pain from using a trackball mouse on photos. I had my hand/wrist in a brace. The joystick mouse is great! After 8 weeks my pain completely went away. I continue to use the mouse and I am very happy with it. I continue to be surprised by the accuracy.
