Customer Review: yay best mouse ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my 3rd 3M Ergonomical mouse. While it may seem silly to keep on buy the same mouse over and over, it is the best mouse out there! a little back ground about me: I use my PC all day for work, and then at night I play PC games all night long. As a result my mouse gets about 12 hrs/day and 7 days a week of abuse. My previous 3M mouse died about after 3 years of usage each but I keep on buying new replacements because of the superior design. It is truly ergonomical! Despite using my mouse for prolong period of time I don't feel any discomfort that I get with other "normal" mouses. In addition, the previous model was the traditional mouse with a ball at the bottom where as this one is optical! I was so pleasantly surprised when I open the box. They should mention it in the product details!

Customer Review: This device saved my job.
Summary: 5 Stars

I work heavy hours as a computer programmer. Sometimes in addition to my full-time job I moonlight and work weekends to make the extra money. I was experiencing pain starting from my wrist and traveling up to my elbow on my mouse hand. It got so bad at one point I decided to completely switch hands at times and then sometimes alternate between the two. Low and behold the pain started on the other arm as well. I had tried a few different types of mouses. Nothing really seemed to help until I found this. The usage of only the thumb to click and the natural position of the hand on this device makes it a winner. I'm happy to say the pain is pretty much gone. I'm so happy to have discovered this.

Customer Review: Best for those with wrist/finger problems, but....
Summary: 5 Stars

I have major arthritus in my wrists and fingers. This mouse is the answer and cure for the pain caused by regular mouses. But I initially found the little pads on the bottom of the mouse would hang up on my mouse pad. I solved that problem by shaving off the pads so the bottom was smooth. Lately, I have to reboot to reactivate the mouse. For some reason the light on the bottom goes out and the mouse dies. Rebooting solves the problem. I just removed the base to see if I could figure out the problem and removed the front weight (cuz I couldn't get it back in). So far so good. Even if that doesn't solve the problem, I will buy another as I can use this mouse all day long with complete comfort.

Customer Review: Works Like a Charm - Play video games for hours without fatigue
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this mouse before it was manufactured by 3M, 3 years ago. Then I rebought it after my first one broke one year ago. I can't use any other mouse for an extended time while playing my favorite PC game. With this mouse, I play for hours with no discomfort at all.

Using a regular wrist bending mouse, my right hand begins getting sore and inflamed within an hour.

It doesn't take a lot of time to get used to using this mouse, when you consider the only other alternative is carpal tunnel syndrome pain.

Yes, it's expensive, but so is a hospital bill.

I'll buy it again when my current one breaks.

I swear by this mouse.

Customer Review: Excellent alternative to a tradional mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

This ergonomic mouse allows the hand to rest in a natural position, relieving the wrist and greatly reducing the need to use the index finger for clicking (which is one of the reasons I bought it).

It is shaped a bit like a joy-stick, so that one uses the thumb for left- and right-clicking (the button is on the top of the "joy-stick"), while a button further down the handle allows for double-click and scrolling. This button is sufficiently long to be operated by either the index, middle finger or ring finger (or all together).

I am quite satisfied, and would certainly recommend it for someone with wrist pains or pain in the index finger.
